Ali Degan focuses his practice on civil litigation, representing financial institutions and mortgage servicers in contested foreclosure actions and related real estate disputes. He also advises clients on consumer claims involving alleged violations of federal and state statutes, such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and the Truth in Lending Act (TILA).

Ali began his legal career in Louisiana, handling a range of civil litigation matters, including product liability and insurance defense. Since moving to New York, he has concentrated on high-stakes litigation involving real property and creditors’ rights, regularly appearing in court on behalf of institutional clients.

Originally from the foothills of the Alborz Mountains in Iran, Ali now lives in New York. He enjoys traveling with his family, discovering new cuisines, and exploring the outdoors with his dog.
